We can't all be blessed with big bedrooms filled with ornate furniture and a 4 poster bed,  so it's important that we make the most out of what we have space-wise. That's why we've decided to write our first blog of 2019 all about how to make the most of whatever (little) room you might have available.

  • Multi functioning furniture

Find ways to use the space you have in more ways than one! Divan beds Warrington are a perfect example of this, you can store things in the drawers under your bed instead of it just being dead space.

  • Forget about the foot board

If you can get a bed or bed frame without a foot board we suggest you go for it! That way you can layer things over the end of the bed which tricks your eye slightly to make the bed and room seem bigger.

  • Go for a dark colour scheme

Many people aren't a fan of dark bedrooms but they're another way to trick your eyes into thinking the room is bigger than it actually is. If you don't want to turn your bedroom into a bat's lair, why not just chose a feature wall and decorate with navy, slate or charcoal accessories?

  • Lots of light

Don't underestimate the use of natural light and mirrors! Why not hang some mirrors around the room, or have a full length mirror against a door or wall? That way you can see if your outfit matches your shoes whilst filling the room with some sunlight!

  • De-clutter

Clutter can be a key culprit when it comes to taking up unnecessary space in your bedroom. Now is the perfect time to have a spring deep clean, get rid of anything that you do need any more and enjoy the extra space that you'll gain afterwards!
